Ms. Terese M. Halfmann

Terese Halfmann, a registered nurse and attorney, joined Pitman, Kyle, Sicula & Dentice in 2009 as a member of the firm’s nursing home abuse litigation team.

Prior to her legal career, Ms. Halfmann worked in a critical care unit before becoming the head nurse of an intensive care unit. She has also served as Clinical Instructor for the Medical-Surgical Unit at the Columbia School of Nursing as well as Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Nursing.

For the past 20 years, Ms. Halfmann has represented the interests of victims of personal injury and medical malpractice. As a member of the state’s largest nursing home practice, she will focus solely on representing victims of nursing home abuse and neglect, utilizing her extensive nursing knowledge to help families that may have been wronged by negligent nursing homes.

Ms. Halfmann received her law degree from Marquette University Law School. She earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from Marquette University where she is a member of the Eta Nu Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau, the International Nursing Honor Society.

Additional distinctions include: appointment to a national task force for the Arthritis Foundation; and a judicial internship with Justice Steinmetz of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
